Buddy of mine has this thing. Says the handle slides on it. I tried to tell him it was a medieval prostate/****** stimulator, but he seems to think otherwise. :lol_hitti

Similar in basic concept to the "new' one that was posted recently, only that older one is designed to dig for the heads, and pull them that way. I have one in near new condition that I picked up last summer. It still has a lot of its paint even.

I've got a few of those. They're still made, and are quite pricy for a nail puller, BUT well worth it. Any other nail puller requires some amount of head to grab on. Those will have the bite and strength to pull a nail, holding only the shank,

That one doesn't look like the handle slides up and down. Mine the handle slides down to drive the claw under the nail and then rock it back on the arm to pull the nail. Only tool I have seen that pulled inbedded nails without having to use a hammer to drive the nail claw in.

Sure it does, look at where the rust stops...

Remember that tool well. As a kid, first day on construction site an old fart handed one of those and a crowbar to me and pointed to a pile of wood full of nails.
