Another WTH are they post

OK, I am not even sure if 2 of these are tools. First is a 1/2" deep well socket, marked LMS-2214. It has a brass mechanism inside it that is spring loaded, I think it is made this way but could be something homemade. The second piece was in with some sockets, it has no markings, inside is rounded like something round would go inside it. Third one is marked Scott PT #358-801. It may not be complete, on the outside there are 4 small pins. Any ideas what these items are?

middle one looks like a piston out of a brake or similar small cylinder.

Middle one looks like it goes on the end of the threaded rod of a puller
