Antique 5 way speed jack

I picked this up at a garage sale and have no idea what I have other than it is old. I was told it was circa 1920. Does anyone have any idea what this is and what it might be worth? Everything is functioning properly on it.

It's worth what someone is willing to pay, and why are so many first posts, "what's it worth? If you are an Ebay seller, go your own homework...

Your images are more like thumbnails than pictures and really hard to see the details. But I think I can safely say that it is a Walker from the late 1930's. Nice jack but they don't bring much money on the used market because no one particularly likes these big mechanical jacks. The most I have ever gotten for one of these is $60.00

Thank you Oldjacks. And Outlawmws I am not an ebay seller. I am someone who saw a cool old tool at a garage sale and bought it thinking of all the people who had used it over the years. I was trying to figure out if it was worth restoring and if I should worry about leaving it out where someone could steal it. It is a shame that there are people like you in the world who are willing to jump on someone without any facts or information. I would hate to be that contrary, angry and opinionated that I would jump on someone new to a board. I hope not everyone here has the same issues in their life as you obviously have. Hopefully the majority are like Oldjacks and just want to be helpful and entertained.

You know you couldn't be more wrong about me, so who is jumping to conclusions now? You gave no information like you did in your second post, and simply asked "What's it worth? That is the classic signature of an Ebay seller looking for free pricing advise in their first (And usually only) post. many of these people are never seen or heard from again.

You didn't introduce yourself, you didn't state your reasons. There are thousands of posts just like that. On the internet, you are what you post, so did you bother to look at any of my other posts before passing judgment? Apparently not. If you had you would not have posted the way you just did.

Forums are social groups; Maybe you should learn something about the society you are entering before making a demand on it.

i can actually understand the sentimant Outlawmws has concerning those that come on here and first post is how much is this worth type of thing.........we see more than enough of these and never hear from these people again...........and as far as being judgemantal, pot meet kettle...........2nd post and you are coming down on someone that has 1000 plus posts........maybe try introducing yourself next time.........oh and Outlawmws isn't a friend , i don't share his opinions on a few matters and have never had any communication with him but he does have some time served on here..........don't get your ******* in a twist over my comments either, go over to the intro thread and let's start fresh........and some bigger and better pics of the jack please, ypu do have an interesting piece there and i am sure a lot of guys here can help, cuz that is what we do best, cheers........
