Antique anvil identification

Hello

I recently purchased this anvil, which was covered with paint, grease and grime.
Upon cleanup i revieled a brand logo, weight and year.
I do not recocnise the logo though, so thought that i might get lucky in here with identifying the anvil.

As far as i Can tell year is 1916, and weight 104,5kg
It is a forged and welded anvil, and has a hardened face!

Im located in Denmark, and regularly anvils here are Kohlswa, Soderfors and peddinghaus

Hello. I saw the pictures I just thought you might have a peter wright anvil, because of the mouse hole on the side. They forged and welded anvils, just a thought. Thank You sharing the pictures .

It doesn't have the characteristic feet of a Peter Wright. It's also marked in kilograms, so it's most likely not a Peter Wright. I don't recognize the logo myself.

Neither to me it looks like a Peter Wright.

It might be an oddball anvil.
I do not Think it is a German anvil, i do not believe the london pattern was typical for those back then.
The kg weight unit could more or less exclude Britain aswell, as the unit would have Been either in pounds or other unit.

Seems like Its a fine anvil though, looking forward to some more hammertime on it!

Australia didn't go metric until 1968, What countries would have kg as early as 1916?

I wonder if the stamps are a later addition?

That is a German anvil, it is the Holthaus stamp.
