Hey newbie here, I have two very old brake shoe riveting machines and a drum brake lathe that belonged to my Grand Father from his Brake repair business. These are from the 30's, 40's, 50's 60's time frame. I don't want them to end up in a scrap yard so where might I find out if there is a value to them and who might be interested in them? They all still work, the riveters have a sanding wheel on the back, still have tray's with rivets! I have all of the adaptors for the lathe for the different drums/races. Any help or thoughts sure would be appreciated. Thanks,

Welcome.

Peruse a few threads and make some additional comments so you can post picks. I think it's still 5 posts. Lots of knowledgable folks on GJ...but the majority of us like tool **** (picture). There are a few vintage tool threads you may get some luck if you try the search function.

Correct, a few more and that option shodbecome available to you. A productive way would be get a good, detailed description of the machines and post one for each. Bam, 2 posts down.

Are there any names, numbers, patents listed on them?
