At least the coins the guy has listed under "Small US coins" are partially from the years the US Mint used silver.

"Selling like antique".. Reads like the scam emails you get when you advertise stuff on craigslist that are a dead giveaway that English is NOT the guys first language. I smell a scammer.

If his Craftsman is worth that much, I have a few old DeWalts from the 90's and early 2000s that must be worth a fortune! All along I thought they were fairly worthless these days.... didn't realize a battery powered drill was already in antique territory.

Oh that explains it! It's $2500 in China dollars. Renminbi? $2500 Chinese Renminbi = $400.82 USD.

You should buy it... dollars to donuts he either tries to get you to pay using some other payment method, or sends a Paypal phishing email invoice.

OK, I figured it out, it's a scam, he wants $500 for shipping to Canada from CA. That pretty well blows the deal for me unless he'll combine shipping on that cman ratchet set he has for $1500. (also $500 shipping)

Man, I'm so in the money! I have 2 of those exact drills, complete with cases, chargers and batteries! Do you think that the fact that the batteries are toast lowers the value at all?
