For what it's worth, the city of Detroit is available for scrap.

Gotta warn you before you drive over from New York, a lot of stuff has already been taken.

....if you want to spend a few more bucks, the GM dealers that have gone **** up have been having their dealership auctions. I spent half a day at one - some stuff was going cheap, some stuff brought stronger money.

:)search; tin signs & you can come up with nice repro tin signs for gas, oil, soda pop, etc... search; gas station or service station or actual name(s) of oil companies and things will pop up. I have had very good luck finding things on ebay. For lighting if you are where there is a Sutherlands, they have neat old style lights. Anyway, it is just alot of searching. Good Luck!

There are a bunch of places. I have quite a few bookmarked at home that I can send you. Craigslist is a real good place to look. At the top where you do a search on CL, just type in "gas pump", or "air meter", "old signs", etc and it will turn up quite a bit of items. I'm not in the market for any more gas pumps as I have two already but I am always looking on CL and there are probably 4 to 5 per week in and around my area. Beer signs are very abundant. Gas signs are real plentiful. But whatever you do on CL don't type in "garage" or you get a multitude of garage sales. A lot that has to do with finfding the items you seek, is how you put it into a search engine
