I just pulled this oldie out of storage to rebuild it. I have had this for about 20 years or so. It's one of those machines that i don't use often but when you need it it's there. It has 4 1/4" dia. Rolls. There isn't any markings or tags so I am wondering if anybody has ever seen one like it. I have rolled 3/16" steel with it like nothing. It has a 2 speed gear train. As you can tell the major issue is it is a manually operated machine. Big stuff requires 2 guys. I do have a couple gear reduction units that I could use to motorize it. Definitely would have to build guards to cover those gears. If anyone has any info I would like to hear it.
Thanks for looking

I wouldn't be putting too much 3/16 through that. Youll for sure break something. I'm sure you could do bar 3/16" maybe a foot wide. have 2 power rollers, my smaller Niagara is 50 inches, has 4" rollers and is rated for 12 ga. My 8 footer has 7" rolls and they say itll do 1/4" but I've only done 8 feet of 3/16"

Thanks for the info. The 3/16” was a piece of scrap probably a little over a ft wide. It was a long time ago. I built a few fire rings for a camp ground and used 1/8” 16” wide. From what you said about your machines this is probably a 10 gauge maximum unit. I am mostly a 16 gauge and down shop anyway.

Great roller! Imo that would be better served bolted to a pallet (could be a custom one and not a shipping pallet) because of the wide-no roll base. A large force on the handle could tip that and I know its seriously top-heavy. Then move it around with a pallet jack for portability.

I agree. Or something like this I did for my shear for moving with a pallet jack.
