Antique stoves

So ive got is suppose to be an 1940 Magic Chef gas stove. I hooked it up and the burners work. Dont know how to light pilot light on oven part. But there is an gas smell. Either its just the oven gas seeping from no pilot light or ive got a leak. Anybody have a clue about these kind of stoves? Wife really likes it......go figure

Bump? Ive got the local gas company coming out tomorrow. Im hoping he NRTS the darn thing so I can just go get her a safe modern one

It looks pretty sweet....but I just don't want it for the everyday stove.
