Hello, my name is Del, I am new. I was just wondering if anybody can confirm the identification of this wrench for me. I found it in an old toolbox that I inherited.
It has a stamp on it that says "L & AG Coes Worcester Mass". I think it was manufactured under a patent #2054, if so it could be a No. 1. This would have been my great-great grandfathers tool kit if the stories grampa told me were accurate. There are so many possible scenarios of this manufacture over the years that I'm just not sure what it is. I want to pass my collection down in the family, but I would like to be able to document the background of these items as much as possible. I thought who would know better than a group of professional tool users, can you help?
