Hey folks found this old anvil at my wife's grandmothers farm over thanksgiving. It has been pounded on pretty good over the years and the markings are worn in many areas.

Can any of the GJ experts tell me maker. Her are a few pics

Can't help you with the ID, but that is a really nice size smaller anvil. I'd like to have one that size. Great find!

Jeep: maybe an old Trenton anvil?? Maybe google that name and see what you can find out. It'a a good looking piece of old steel and put a carpenter's square on the top to show you (and us if you take a picture) how flat it is.

Wilkinson anvil brand.
From England, they had multiple shops in the Dudley/Birmingham area.

"WILKINSON'S" on top, and then "SOLID ANVIL" underneather.

The two 'crossed hot dogs' logo in the middle was their common stamp.
Might have the stone weight stampings on the other side of the anvil.

Awesome. Will take a look.

I wonder what era it is from. Are Wilkinson Anvils still made. Will google that and see what I come up with.
