Around here, Farm and Fleet used to sell Wright. Unfortunately, they don't anymore. I don't know of any other brick and mortar stores in my area who carry it.

I bought a bunch of Wright stuff back in the day. Good stuff. All of my recent Wright purchases have been via internet.

Harry Epstein's in Kansas City, MO and Hanneke Hardware in S. St. Louis are two off the top of my head. It might help if the op were to tell us where he or she is at...

Not enough in my opinion. I've only found two in the KC metro area. Three maybe four if you count extensions of the same store.

One of these days maybe I'll add Wright stuff to my online inventory but prices seem to be set by the factory. :)

Just answered.

Isn't it funny when you provide little information (lack of location), the answers you get?:lol_hitti

Yup...I was at home with the baby when I posted so it had to be short...I'm at work now so I can expand a little...I live in Auburn, AL and the closest location from the distributor list (thanks for showing me that!) is in Montgomery, which is do-able...there are several tool-carrying supply shops around town, but who knows what they carry...looking to fill some pretty big holes in the Wright socket set.

Thanks for all the posts and info!

When I went looking for a Wright distributor in a brick & mortar building, what I found upon visiting these places was that they could order what I wanted and had very little if any stock on hand, plus factor in I'm in the Chicago area. I've dealt with Hardware Sales, Royal Supply both of which on line and have read a lot of good reviews of people who've bought from TRTool Supply.

In my opinion, time and gas need to be figured into the equation.

Anymore, when I need a tool, I order it from the internet and have it shipped to my door.

Most of the time, shipping doesn't cost much more than the gas it takes to drive to the store.

Ebay and Harry Epstein have been my friends for my most recent Wright purchases. Order it up and let em' ship it to ya'.

Brock tool in elk grove Il. EXPENSIVE

+1, I stopped by there on my way to get my Tri-Mix cylinder refilled, the only cool thing about them is they do Milwaukee tool repairs, and only charge T&M, versus Milwaukee charges flat rate. Milwaukee wanted $89 to change my brushes on my ol 6511 Sawzall:shocking:
Brock didn't have any Wright in stock, which I found disappointing. They do carry DeWalt and while I was checking out a few cordless pieces the counter guy was watching me like I was a known felon. My wife even commented on it and I looked at the guy and said "he's just doing his job, I probably remind him of his father and he misses the way his dad ran his fingers thru his hair after he pulled up his dad's zipper" The guy just walked into the back muttering something under his breath.
