KRL722/KRL791 boxes.

Chrome drawer guards and chrome square tube box edge trim.
The stuff that came standard on the box, not the optional drawer guards.

The box trim is held on with a few rivets.
The drawer guards are held on by double-sided tape on the underside of the guards

Tired of the look, I was thinking of taking it off and replacing it all with either a carbon fiber look, or having them Line-X'd.

Anyone here removed the guards before, and have some advice/tips re: An easy way to remove the drawer guards without ruining them?

Yeah, sometimes I have a little too much time on my hands.

Thanks for any comment.

You mentioned the stuff that came standard in the box....standard trim is the corner guards held on by rivets and the thin drawer trim on the front of the drawer pull.
The drawer guards are an optional item.... that being said, I would try a heat gun and plastic pry... you could probably sell them if you get them off without tearing them up ...I might be interested in them... good luck
