They built my shop. I priced the materials to build it myself, but they could put it up for about $1000 more than the materials would cost me and didn't have to touch it in 105* temps.. The big savings was in the concrete. The cheapest I could find was $4.25 a square foot and they did it for $2.65. My 30x50 enclosed with a 12x30 front shed insulated,12x10 roll up door and walk in door ran 21K.
I was pretty well pleased with the building. The concrete could have been a little better, but they poured it in 105* weather. They price fiber in the concrete and I wanted rebar. I bought the rebar and they installed it at no extra charge. They use bubble-foil insulation and I need some additional insulation. I run heat and air in mine. You can put your hand on the insulation with when the sun is on the wall in 100* weather and it is not hot, but I would like to reduce the power bill.
I like the vaulted ceiling, as it gives you very high head room in the center. I wish I had stayed with a 12' eve height instead of a 10'. I put a loft all across the back and I would have had 2' more head room there, but I was trying to get the roof to match the house.
All in all, I am pleased with the shop and the price beat every quote I got by several thousand and I probably got 20 or more.
