Any experience with new Yost vises?

I have been searching craigslist with no luck so I found this one from Northern Tool:

According to Yost it is made in The USA and is made of ductile iron. I know it won't hold a candle to the old ones, but I need a good vise ASAP.

Model 880-DI and it weighs about 60 pounds.

I have had the 6" model for about 18months now. I love it. I got mine at Northern Tool on sale for $200 with free shipping. It was well worth the money. I have rebuilt a turbo, a drive line, a steering pump and who know what all on this thing. The 6" is has been plenty big enough. And the reservable nature of this will make you wonder why others don't have this feature. The only complaint I have had is after grinding the jaws screws will sometimes loosen up on the non-clamp side.

Why not eBay? Even with shipping you will probably only spend $200 or less on a really good vise. Even Wilton's go for a considerably less than their "new" cost.

Bullets go on ebay for $160-$220 depending on condition. That's the route I would prefer.

An 8" vise that weighs 60 lbs seems pretty light duty to me. Hard to believe there isn't something nicer and cheaper on CL or Ebay. Do you need 8" jaws and a swivel base? Seems a real 6" vise would be better. Do you get down this way at all, could probably part with something if you do.

The jaws on the vise are 8" wide. The jaws on the Yost Reversible vises are wider than is typical with most heavy bench vises though. A better comparison would be the Yost 65C Medium Duty Tradesman Combination vise in the 6-1/2" size. The two vises weigh about the same.
