Long time lurker, first time post. I love to fish and I love to eat fish as well. I got to thinking today that I might want to build a fish cleaning station in the new garage I have planned for when we build in a couple of years. I currently just cover the freezer in my garage with newspaper and have at it. I'd like to do better than this in the new place.

Any one have pics of their setup? I'm only in the planning stages, but this garage needs some serious consideration before we build. Thanks!

well I don't fish much, but if I did I could see building a nice bench just for that..maybe find some used commercial stainless counter top with a sink built in? built on a sturdy wood or steel frame if you live in the country just drain it outside through the wall :bounce:

Wow, I just had a flashback.
Years ago we used to take family camping/fishing trips to Minnesota. Every campground had a fish cleaning station. Man, you wanna talk about STINK!!!

I've thought about doing that for years but never got to it. My plan was to make it out of "starboard" or a similiar material. It's a solid plastic that holds up very well outdoors. I was going to hinge it off an outside wall so it flips up with a support underneath. Currently I use two folding saw horses with a laminate top. But half the time I don't want to pull that all out if we just get a handfull of walleye. Might just promt me to do it next week. I'll post pics if I do. What where you thinking?
