Any fixes for broken M12 battery latches?

Yeah those battery latches are pretty flimsy, I broke one that I use on my ratchet. The batt keeps popping out during use so I think the other latch is going to be long lived.

Keep warrantying them till they fix the design?

I had a similar thought, if you try warranty (2 years on compacts IIRC?) with a kind note explaining what happened they may just ship you a new battery. Admittedly, it seems like a ****-shoot & probably at the discretion of the tech or MOD that day.

Beyond that , I'm sorry I don't have any actual tech for your original question & if you do find a solution please post up. I've often looked at those tabs & thought they look like a weak point, but I've not had one break - yet.

Its weird, i have always thought the tabs were kinda flimsy, but i have never had one break, and i use my tools professionally daily.
