In Indianapolis for the weekend and wanted to know if there are any tool centric flea markets in the area? Is the Irvington flea market any good in terms of outside vendors? I see they open at 10 am but do people set up at dawn outside? Thanks for any info.

Any good flea markets in INDY?

The Irvington flea market is ok, but nothing special. I don't remember seeing anyone setting up an outside booth in years. The EZ Pawn in the same shopping center has a better selection of tools. There are several pawn shops near Irvington that have tools. I shop about 10-12 pawn shops on a regular basis looking for tools to flip on Ebay. There are two more flea markets about 2 miles east of Irvington on Washington street.

I have yet to find anything worth a hoot from Indy clear to Louisville ky, and behond, the derby city flea market in louisville isn't bad but best I'd found is in Simpsonville ky about 30 min from Clarksville In, it is amazing just no ratchets but can get snap on sockets and wrenches for $5 and williams,sk,Wright etc for $1 each , I've bought alot from there there's tens of thousands of sockets alone it's crazy. Can't say that I can think of any really good flea markets. There are a couple called Peddler's Mall. The one on the east side would have stuff from time to time. The one on the west side was more car stereo and junk. There is also a large antique store near downtown in an old factory. Not much for tools there though. I didnt have a ton of room when I lived out there so i didnt look super hard for flea markets and tools. Hopefully someone knows of a little gem that i'm not aware of.

Isn't there one up 37 near Purgatory Golf club. That's actually Nobelsville though.

Strawtown? I went there once,but do not recall much about it.
On Thursdays I believe.
