I am looking for a right angle die grinder my old Harbor Freight one gave up the ghost and I replaced it with the same one but it only lasted about 5 minuets,
I went to Lowes and got a Kobalt because it has a 3 year warranty but it gave up today.
What do you recommend for an air die grinder?

Right angle die grinders have a hard life due to the bevel gears and high speed. I've only had them last really well by going to something industrial (Sioux, Dotco etc) and cheap + warranty might be be a better option than a $400+ grinder. Are you actually using burrs and cutting wheels on it? I save a lot of wear and tear on my right angle die grinder by using a "polisher" with a straight motor when using roloc disks:

I am using roloc sanding disk, a cutting disk when I need to get where I can't get a grinder.
Where is the picture from? I saw it today but can't remember where.

Just from google, it's a Chicago Pneumatic CP7202.

Also, if you already have Milwaukee batteries and whatnot, the m12 right angle die grinder is great. They are battery hogs and certainly no replacement for an air grinder combined with good air supply but might fit the bill depending on your usage and compressor setup. No bevel gears to go bad either.

The HF Chief composite RA die grinder has served me well. I believe it is the same as several models sold under other names for somewhat more money. I find that to be generally true of all the Chief branded stuff.

currently for sensible coin to quality tool Astro or HF Chief
Best deals with Astro can be 2pc set with carbide bits.
I'd buy Astro As it like 50 bucks, JB Tools stocks these .
