Just wondering if anyone has seen any good sales going on anywhere on tools. Starting to look for Christmas.

Might have to check it out this weekend. I'm looking for something I seen on sale in the craftsman magazine last weekend, well online it is more expensive online. I'm going to look for some tools too. Are you a fan of craftsman?

Thanks. Yea, I'm just looking for some gifts. I got a few Sears stores out here. Are you apart of craftsman rewards?

HillyBillyTool09,

Welcome to the forum. I'm fairly new here myself and find quite a few hobbyists (like me) are fans of craftsman because of the name, warranty, convenience and price. The professionals that use their tools to make a living use SnapOn, Matco, etc.

I recently bought a 9 new craftsman socket and wrench sets from eBay believe it or not. Most of them were from this guy - Rob Zombie Tool Co for a very reasonable price. I also bought extra ratchets and breaker bars.

Good luck hunting and let us know what you purchased :)

Pretty nice sets Eddie. I'm looking for some Sockets, Extension Bars, a Creeper, Wrenchs. Does ebay usually have some good deals on craftsman?

HillBillyTool09,
craigslist, ebay are all great alternatives to Sears/Kmart in my mind. Just know the "retail" prices and then price shop accordingly. I know the prices I paid were very good :)

wrenchr,
Nice car in your avatar :) I have an '85 MCSS in my garage that my family has had since new.

The current craftsman club flyer runs until Nov 28. You may want to check there. I'm hoping the German stuff in the holiday catalog goes on sale. However, I hit my local Sears yesterday. They were mostly finished with the Holiday tool dispaly and it was disappointing to say the least. Few craftsman items, mostly off brand homeowner tool sets called "I work". maybe they'll have specific Craftsman items on sale as it gets closer to the holidays but, black spline wrenches and the Dogbone aren't going to cut it for me this year.

Give it a chance. Those 8 year old chinese kids are stamping their little hearts out as we speak. Probably around the clock. They'll get some more wrenches over here by Christmas.

Geez, you guys ask SOOOO much of the little buggers!:)
