LOL.

Yet another example of where buying off the truck or buying directly from Snap-On will likely yield you a better deal.

Sad, but true. And you can thank ebay and the "ebay professional sellers" for that one.

Beverly Hills prices for gravel parking lot finds.

JJJ, I'm new to the site, so hello first of all. :)

I'm not sure I follow you. (nor do I follow Snapon pricing closely.) Are you saying that the above listed is so overpriced that you could buy it off the truck for less than the current asking price?

I like the green and if I could find a crazy deal on it, I'd be all over it. Since I subscribe to the "Retail Price is for Suckers" buying philosophy, I almost never buy stuff right off the truck.

I'm far to cheap for that. :D

Sorry.

What I;m saying that I;m guessing (to my best knowledge) that the price is likely to be inflated to near new prices due to it being sold in bulk.

Bulk tools sales seldom yield a high profit, unless inflated from the start.

Sadly, I am too lazy to do the itemization on his lot to test the math and thus my earlier post.

If I have the time while watching the GP2 and then the F1 Hungary race tomorrow morning I will do so.

Sadly, life has taught me to not believe in Unicorns, low-maintenance women and cheap Snap-On tools or S-O deals on ebay.

Green tools tend to fetch a premium. I own a ****-tonne of them (sp. for our British friends LOL) and I still don't understand why they are any different from the red or orange.

I can go all "Price-Waterhouse" on that auction, I just need the time.

Just my opinion.

Aaahhh. Gotcha.

While I'm clearly no expert, I do see the obviousness with which pricing goes up when SO tools start to multiply in a sale.

One ratchet goes for 5 bucks but three go for 50. (I'm exaggerating for effect here.)
