A friend asked me if its possible to change the pass. side mirror without removing the door panel? They want me to install a new mirror for them bit I don't have a clue about how the door panel on the car looks

Yeah I guess that's important info... 04 Honda Accord

Tool related: any special tools needed? I had a tool to remove clips on door panels but it was junk. It wouldn't reach half of the clips unless they were close to the edge of the panel.
Anyone have suggestions on a good tool or do I even need to spend the money?

you have to take the door panel off, it aint hard takes maybe 2 minutes, a couple of phillips or maybe torx screws and just pop it off the clips.

if its a manual mirror you don't have to remove the panel, just pop the cover directly behind the mirror on the inside.

Even if its power, you should just have to remove the small plastic panel right on the inside of the door "behind" the mirror. There should be a small connector (unplug) and i THINK 3 10mm nuts holding the mirror assemb. on.
