Any idea if this is a Snap On hand held tool box?

Picked this up at a sale and thought for sure it was a snap on but I don't see any stamping. I fell for the sliding tray and had to have it. Thoughts?

Yes, it is. Look for the stamping on the bottom.

There's literally no stamping anywhere.

Nice pick-up, some discussion here on the KR-56x. Mine also has no marking/stampings of any kind other than a Snap-on sticker.

No stampings and latch on front, 50s probably.

It's clean other than paint delamination and scratches/wear and tear. Worth painting or leave it as is? I'll probably flip it as I have enough boxes.

K-65A. The really early ones didn't have a front latch and that is where the logo sticker was. Mine is a'30s with the oval logo. Yours should be a '50s with triangle logo on top right in front of the latch. Worth a bit cleaned up.

I think those were used for smaller tools, carburetor tools/parts, etc.

I've been looking for one of those actually.
I never seem to find one so cheap like you guys.

Just bought a box + roller set that seems to be a one owner set and it seems it spent it's life in a desert town so almost no rust, but they cost a lot more.

Let me know if you decide not to keep it.

Don’t paint it, clean it up really good and it should bring some good coin on either eBay or here in the classifieds.... Bonus dollars if you have the key!
