Any idea who made these drill bits

Any idea who made these drill bits? Fist I have seen with removable tips.

The person I got them from said might be old Skill. I see no markings

any help would be great. Where do I get replacement parts :eyecrazy:

I'm not any help on finding replacement tips but those are fairly easy to sharpen. Straightening the one with a bent tip might be a bit more of a challenge though

I was just reading an old Popular Mechanics magazine from 1958 and found an ad for these. I think the company was Erie Tool Co or Erie Machine Co. I'll recheck it and see if I can get a picture of the ad.

Here's an ad from March 1952 from "Time Saver Tools", Mundelein, Ill.:
There's also an ad presently on ebay for a similar wood boring set, although the seller claims (incorrectly I think) that the packaging is not original.
