Any idea who makes these pliers?

I saw these on the mac site a few months ago and then I came across them the other night on the matco site. Does any one know who makes these? Can they be bought cheaper somewhere else?

They were first made by Kal tools in the US and rebadged by most tool trucks. great pliers!!! Lately there are imported versions from Sunex, Mountain, and others.
