Hey guys,

I need to replace this wiring harness and it's trapped inside this plastic holder. Any ideas on how to open this up without breaking it?

THANK YOU!

Try a small flatblade in the seam on the front side, insert and twist till the tab pops out.

It just clips together like the crappy suitcase clips that come with wire connector kits. You can pop it open with a screwdriver or a dull knife. If you can get ahold of it you can squeeze it and pop it open, usually can't get ahold of it though.

Yes, look,at the side and identify the catch, then use a small screwdriver to pop it open.

Slotted screwdriver to pop it out then fool around with it until it opens. Depends on how old it is but this could break the mounting tab at the bottom. Probably a nylon pry bar (panel pry bar) would be best. :dunno: I try to be careful with these nylon mounting jimjams but they'll fall apart with age regardless of how careful you are with them at least for me.

Heat and exposure usually harden those loom clips and there's nothing you can do once they're to that point, try the pry method and cross you fingers. If it breaks, try the dealer or body shop supply, sometimes auto parts stores like AZ will have a similar universal one in the help section.
