Gift them to a neighbor kid. They are real tools and little kids love "real" stuff...

A good idea, except at 53 I am the neighbour kid!

Those would be a great "catch all" for odd unused household hardware like drywall anchors, screws, nuts, bolts, allen keys, brackets, pull cords and chains with their associated links, knobs, etc... that come with typical household products such as blinds, shelving, appliances, etc.. Those sorts of things always get tossed around/away and "it's in the yellow bin" would keep things like that pretty well sorted.

Put them on FB marketplace, modern version of flour, sugar, coffee storage bins.
