Picked a gents place today and we didn't know what these were. All different sizes. Pipe thread chasers?

They are bearing lock nuts with a slot. Not modified, since the slots are equally spaced around the outside of a standard bearing nut.

My guess is that they are gauges for measuring threads on a shaft that will use bearing nuts.

The tapered thing looks like a home-made drift for removing Morse taper drills.
