I am a long time lurker and just about to purchase my first home with a garage - so eventually I would like to start a tidy up/renovation thread, in the meantime I thought I would share this:

I occasionally search for things like vices and work benches on Gumtree as it throws up some gems now and then, but I have no idea what this is although it looks well made and purposeful.

Any ideas?

looks like some sort of vise... I mean eunuceizer

It is a sine vise. Used by machinists for precisely drilling, milling or grinding at an angle.
