Finally joined the “picked up a baldor grinder for next to zero dollars” club. Took me 8 years, but it finally happened. This grinder popped up locally for $25. I’m in Eastern Canada where old cast iron is super hard to come by, so this is a real score for me. sure it has a cracked guard and is missing the rests, but it runs super smooth and is in great shape.

I really like to cool old machine dealer tag.

Any information you guys have on it would be great! Seems like there is lots out there on other 730X models, but I haven’t seen anything on the 7300 specifically.

I have a 7307D. I suspect yours is an earlier version. But it looks pretty similar.

I have a similar 7307D as well, but the nameplate amperage is different than the op's. I wonder if the amps included the dual lights (?).

Maybe. I think the last number dictated the options. Just an assumption since the 7s seem to have lights and I think maybe some were numbered to indicate a stand? Not sure, but mine seems to be a very plain, base model.

Since I don't have rests, I think I am going to put a green wheel on one side for tungsten grinding and maybe a deburring wheel on the other. I can leave general grinding and wire wheels to the 8" queen city.
