The quality varies from item to item. They are Chinese or Taiwanese made. What specifically are you looking at?

I was looking at the 1/2" Flex Head Long Ratchet. I believe it's 24" for $34.00 on eBay.

They are manufactured out of Taiwan but based in Canada. We have been selling them to the heavy equipment guys for years. The sockets, chisels and ratchets are top notch. We hardly have a warranty repair. We service around 2500 mechanics I the southeast and many more online. Our customers really like them. Being an ex-diesel mechanic I would say they are the same quality as Snap-on. I really like Martin and Wright tools as well.

I have a set of pry bars and impact sockets from genius. The sockets are great, no problems at all. The pry bars are good too but they are not strikable.

I am super excited about genius franchises opening in the USA I have owned some of their tools for about 10 years and have been wanting to buy more ever since. check out their master wrench assortment/set in its own plastic tray, for about the same price as 9 snap on wrenches.

they are far from "Asian stuff" they are the best Asian stuff you can get. years ago I orderen a bunch of "ingersoll rand" impact sockets, they were all genius brand. I was a little miffed at first until I noticed what a good quality nice looking socket they were. I have wanted more genius tools ever since.

Is today bump all Genius Tool threads to the top day?

I have a few thin wall, plastic coated impacts from them, and a couple 1/4" bit adapters for rachets from them. The haven't broke on me for sure, but after seeing the Toptul thinwall plastic-coated impacts I sure wish I had those instead. They are purty.
