Any issues with reducing an air compressor cut in pressure?

I just installed a new pressure switch on my IR 4000 compressor. The switch came set for 140# on and 175# off. It has an unloader.
I've got a very small leak in my air lines that I can't find, they run 40ft thru trusses 12 ft up. My main tank when isolated does not leak.
Thinking of reducing the cut in pressure to 110# so the motor does not start that often but will run a few minutes longer. The motor was rebuilt around 18 years ago. Delivery pressure is 90# to a 125gallon tank and also a 80-gallon tank I keep isolated.
Pros and Cons of doing this will help me decide.

I have never had my pressure set on either of my two compressors to more than 125# and I use a lot of air for cabinet blasting. Someone working with large equipment may need more. Obviously the overall solution is to repair the leak.🤪 Mine has a small leak somewhere too, but I only run a compressor as needed. I need to get my wife to see if she can hear it before I make the effort of soap testing as she can hear a gnat fart.

no harm in reducing the pressure, in fact it will be good for the compressor . You will probably find that by reducing the cut in pressure, the cut out pressure will be lowered too .

Cobbler, Thanks that's why I asked. The cut in pressure has a separate setting adjustment from the cut-out pressure. Brand of the switch is Hubbell.
Turning the cut-out pressure only affects the cut-in pressure if the second screw is not adjusted.
