I've searched around and all I can find is Lista vs. Snap On type threads. I would just like to know how well these are built and how your experience with them has been. What I do like about them is the ability to customize your own configuration and personally, I think I would like a tall single bay chest over a double or triple.

I work in watch repair and we use nothing but lista for parts storage in a building that houses 80+ watchmakers and another 40+ support staff. Some drawers are opened a few hundred times a day. Some of the chests are 20 years old and they all function well.

I have both a snap on and a Lista box... Lista stuff is more industrial/business like... Snap On stuff is a bit more flashy and maybe a tad more innovative. But from a quality stand point, it's probably a Mexican stand-off. Both are Very good.

And 80+ watch makers? Are you in Detroit by chance?

Well said. I'm going to say lista is the best you're going to get without getting on a truck.

Listas are great quality. I don't see you havingg any problems with one. When lista gets picked on here, it is buy SO boys getting annoyed by lista owners going on and on how we are stupid to by SO. I own SO.

I've never owned Snap-On although I lusted after them for years. After owning Stanley/Vidar...I'll never own anything else. I only have 3 of the 60" tall ones but I love em....I owned one Lista in the past and I would still take it over a a Snap-On.

Although I understand the appeal of Lista's configurability and accessories, I like Snap On much better in terms of drawer construction and slide quality. I have many peeves as with the Lista. For my personal set up, Snap On all the way.

About 12 months ago I purchased a Lista triple bank.
It's 78" wide X 53" high so it's a bit of a monster.

It has the stainless top over timber but being that high it's use as a work surface is limited. Unless your > 7ft :).

It is really heavy duty.
I think each draw is rated at 400+ pounds
The delivery guy really struggled with the weight.
He couldn't believe it was empty :).

It's finished in semi gloss powder coat so it is certainly not as flashy as Snapon but it still looks impressive.
I added the stainless steel corner guards to give it a bit more bling.
The digital locks were also a Lista available upgrade.

Overall I am very pleased with it and would certainly buy again.

A guy at work has a Lista box. He really seems to like it. It's kind of an awkward height to me though. It's tall enough to have a top to work on, but too tall to be able to do much on it

How do the insides on the drawers look? I have heard others complain about the drawers having a bunch of divider mounting holes throughout the drawers causing issues with drawers hanging on items in the drawer below.

Thanks for the replies fellas!

Yes the draw bottoms have a matrix of holes similar to peg board.
This is to attach the draw divider system if it is used.

However if you look at the pictures you will notice that lowest part of the draw is the front lip.
If you over stuff the draw below you are not going to be able to get it past the lip to close it. This guarantees you will have clearance below the holes of at least an inch when the draw is closed.

Hope this makes sense.
