Ok so I just baught a Mac 60th anniversary 50" double bay top and bottom box and for whatever reason it doesn't have the chrome peices that go over the drawer handles to protect them and I was hoping somebody could order me some I am more in the industrial side of wrenching and don't have a Mac dealer or I'd just ask him so hopefully somebodys got a way to get em thanks Alan

Wow ok then that was a hell of a response Guessing u have had some bad experiences with Mac dealers anyway anybody got any ideas then

I believe GJ member 35mastr USED to be a Mac dealer. You might try shooting him a PM and see if he can point you in the right direction.

Post the model # for the box, and the quantity and lengths you need for the edging. Ill check for you when I'm on the truck this Friday.

Thanks archfish I'll get that for u tmro after work I believe it's mb 1000 but let me check for sure And ya I tried emailing Mac no reply yet if arcfish can't get it for me I'll try calling Mac my box was used in a body shop and I guess the previous owner decided it looked better without them oh and I haven't baught any Mac tools for a couple years but the last stuff I baught still has made in USA on it

thaught u guys might want a pic of what im bugging you about atleast. its my first real nice box has all ball bearing and the double slides on the deep drawers its a 60th anniversary eddition the previous owner put the lexus and bmw emblems on there wich i was gonna take off imediatly but for whatever reason all the emblems grew on my it has a few paint chips and 1 ding but other then that seems to be in excellent shape its the 50 inch let me know what u think im pretty proud of it

One of the guys I work with has one similar to that, it's like a millenium series or something like that, and I'd bet it's about 50". I was thinking it's more like a Macsimizer, but now I'm not sure if it has the angled front corners or not. I'll have to look tomorrow.

post the info,model,series,# of peices needed and i'll check into it for you. i have two mac dist that live within 4 miles of me and i'm freinds with them both.even though i don't do much buisness with either one.but it sure comes in handy when you need a specialty tool on sunday afternoon.lol

they are mac 60th anniversay eddition mb1000 and mb1010 i need all of them the ***** i baught the set from took them off and threw them out because he didnt like how they looked. and damn i wish i had a couple tool dealer freinds like that

Also just to add another question to this what do u guys think the trade in value would be on my box on any of the trucks ma matco or snap on if I decided I wanted to get a different setup
