Any of y'all fish?

I like to fish, some of my set-ups use mono which is no issue. The rest of my set-ups use braided fishing line which I have been using now for years. I had a great pair of cutters when I first started to use the braided line, but alas they are long gone.
The scissors they advertise to cut braid **** after a few months and I have even tried having a decent pair professionally sharpened, but it seems after a few cuts there is no clean cut anymore and the line frays.
Can anyone offer suggestions for a better cutting tool to use in the field that will give me a cleaner cut?

I fish more than I should and use braid up to 100lb. I used the Shimano scissors and they worked well. Lately I have been using a folding knife that holds utility blades. They cut the braid easy and you can get closer to knot when cutting the tag off.

I fish, a lot. Tournament bass fisher. I run a lot of braid for heavy cover fishing. I've just come to the conclusion I need to replace scissors yearly. So far none have held up and I've used cheap Mustads all the way up to expensive Kershaws. The only thing so far that has worked well for me that I use salmon fishing is this, but I've only used them for about a month so cant speak to longevity.

These look pretty nice. I think I'm going to order a pair and see how they do. I had the same issue with the scissors that you do. The Shimano lasted the longest.

My fishing pliers have a carbide line cutter. Good as new after ten years of braided line. Mine are Eagle Claw but I'm pretty sure others make them as well.
