I dunno... Have you visited them?

Be aware... ALOT of metal building dealers on the web are just that. dealers.. middlemen....AND many are shady or worse.

Google Maps shows it is just an office, NO warehouse, yard, or manufacturing at that address.

Looking over their website, and considering the above, I would really shy away from that UNLESS you clearly know different.

Don't you have a company that does these around you anywhere that clearly produces their own product?

Here's an example of a long time reputable one in TX area.

Look over their website and get a taste of what they provide... and note many locations do fab work to produce their product.

They don't make every single piece, like girts/purlin stock they buy of course, and beam stock... the steel coil... but they do roll all the sheets in house and make all the trim components to order.

And fab the final beams to plan specs.

Thanks for the input. 2nd day of considering a metal building v. pole barn. We are VERY wet where I live, just put in 330' drain lines.
I'm worried about the rot in such wet soil.

Living near Salt water as you do, you will be easily able to find .60 treated CCA square 6x6 posts.

In East TX, my recent price for above is $1.10 / bd ft. (planed s4s, 5.5" x 5.5")

.60 minimum is considered "Foundation or Piling grade", NOT Salt water exposure.

MOST Pole builders normally use .40, technically under Industry recommended specs.

Salt water immersion mandates a higher retention, mostly to repel boring creatures AFAIK.

Google it.

If you are overly concerned about rot, price out higher CCA retentions... generally overkill, but not a bad place to spend a few extra bucks.

Of course, same thing for your mud girts, or anything in or on ground, get the higher CCA if you are concerned.

Maybe coating/treating the posts with a wood preservative will help in regards to rot.

Just dont put wood in the ground.

Pour piers and attach the poles to them. It is a longer lasting building anyway, regardless of how wet it is

Web Steel has been around for years. I believe they build everything in house. I've seen a lot of their buildings including local fairgrounds and have never heard any complaints.
