It is whats left of a 1908 werner villeapod splash apron [right front section] that was torn off on a cold december night crash on the moonless night of the 24th. It flew off the car and came to rest upside down in a field of cow manure on the southeast side of the mountain. The next day,as seen by the patina, it was stepped on by a bovine's left rear hoof and was buried for the next 82 1/2years. This took place in 1929 thus it has just been unearthed in a new sub-division by the illegal gardener who took it to antique roadshow to find it's true value sinnce he did not want to wait for the american pickers! He did not want to put it in a storage unit and default on the rent so it could make someones day..Since it is such a rare find he sold it for $250,000 and went back to his mother country a rich man!
