Made my own one in HS metal shop. Casted it myself, still have it and use it. Not sure what you need. but I will try to get a pic and answer any questions you might need.

One of the projects at the trade school I attended was to build a vise that had been cast at a local foundry. It gave us a chance to use our skills and the different machine to complete the project. I still have that vise. I will try and post some pictures.
Good luck with your project.

I made a precision grinding vise in tech school. Machined it out of a solid chunk of tool steel, heat treated it, and ground flat, square and parallel within .0002 . I don't have any pictures if the actual vise I made (it's in the bottom of my toolbox at work), but it's basically a copy of the Hermann Schmidt version.

Probably not quite what you were looking for though.

I had to make one the first week I worked at a machine shop. If you couldnt make it, you didnt make it...

I have made a couple. Nothing to fancy though, just cold rolled steel.
Have a 3D Auto-Cad drawing, me and my Nephew made one Saturday.
Could post it up, if you want it. You would have to able to read Auto-CAD Drawings though.
Its done with the 2002 version of Auto-Cad
