Any one ever try sds plus core bits.

Any one ever try the smaller thin wall sds bits. I was think of getting a couple for wiring hot tubs, putting service conduits thru etc. I have a 2'' sds max bosch drill but its super heavy and not the best for smaller conduits etc. Just curious if anyone's ever tried them or if Ihave to just bite the bullet.

I have used some. They are definitely faster than a large standard bit. For the sizes i drilled, the core bits didnt have a centering drill, so i had to make a guide by drilling a hole through a 2x with a paddle bit. I was satisfied with their performance. My application was for installing/epoxying large anchors into a concrete slab.

Appreciate the info, I think Ill pick up a couple better then using the 1'' bit and my small chisel.
