I really need a shed to get some stuff out of the garage so I can work. Thinking 10 x 12, but any would be great.

I think there are some free plans on the popular mechanics site. In fact, I just checked...there are. I just went to thier web site and searched for shed plans. I can't speak to the level of detail or how easy they are to follow, but a coworker is building one and he said that they're pretty good.

Check with places like Home Town or Home Depot. They have "kit" metal sheds.
I put one together in a weekend. Other than a pad to sit on, the kits have everything. (mine included a padlock)
For the pad; concrete sidewalk blocks work well.

They have some nice project book's at Lowe's on shed's. I built
mine just like I was building a small garage. I wanted it to match
the house, and garage so it would'nt look out of place. It's only
10' x 10' with 6' 8" walls, I bought trusses from Manards for
$16 each. Fun project.
Good luck, Rich

I forgot to mention Sears. they always have metal sheds on sale (with free floor kits). Not the most durable or best for windy places, but they'll keep your stuff dry and out of the sun.

No offense, but a shed isn't exactly the most complicated building there is. With some basic carpentry skills and a pad of paper, you can design a shed on your own.

Unless they improved the metal yard sheds over the last 10 years I'd build out of wood. Those older metal sheds were rust buckets after a few years. Basic carpenter skill are thats needed. When in doubt go to the library and check out some books and read up. I've built two for myself and there is really no trick to it.

I had 2 of these built by a local builder, for the time and labor involved it was worth it for me.
I couldn't find plans I liked so I just sketched what I wanted, gave him this picture and let him figure it out.
Anyway, I did this type lean-to so I could put them tight against the back of the garage under the back eave overhang. I have one left hand, one right hand. I used one to get all the lawn/yard tools out of the garage, the other has my Vertical compressor, generator, pressure washer, stuff like that in it.

I built a 10 x 12 barn style with a loft in on end with 12"eve all around. I designed it on my CAD system. Mostly all 4ft and 8ft framing 36" walk in door in one end and a 64" dbl door opposite end. I could E/M a DXF file or fax you
some drawings if your interested.
