Any one know a place to get laminate?

Years ago it seemed you could go into your local hardware store and fine 500 different laminate chips to look at an choose for you laminate counter top. You could not only order a counter top in what ever color and style you wanted but you could buy the sheet laminate too. Seems like this does not happen any more. I guess they are pushing stone and solid surface counter tops now. However, I am wanting to make my own counter tops but do not want to use standard colors. Anyone know where somone could order or get sheet laminate?

Your local lumber yard and/or commercial bulding supply place should be able to order it.

If you're in the midwest, good ol' Menard's always stocks a dozen or so colors right in their stores.

You're right - seems like HD & Lowes have really gotten away from stocking laminate sheets.

HD and Lowes don't stock many sheets, but they do have the sample chips from Formica and Wilson Art and can get any style/color in about a day or two.
