The stainless rolling bench and sliding closet doors were at one time elevator doors that were repurposed into my garage from remodel jobs, which otherwise would have met the scrap pile. IMG_0001.jpg

I like the look of stainless Firewalls in Aircraft or Hot rods

Your cabinets look good

Note to Bad_Idea Get a stick of Boe lube from Van's Aircraft makes drilling a lot easier

I like that. I also like that you added the up/down lights above. Where would someone even begin looking for retired elevator doors?

Looks good Joe....I like how you included the up/down arrows - nice whimsical touch!

EDIT: wintermute noticed the arrows too!....

Joe: Those doors are over the top. What a great reuse of materials. No rust problem for sure and a very retro look.

I LOVE everything stainless, it looks spiffy as hell. I just don't like scratches on stainless, like the 6 inch scratch on the bottom of my refrigerator door.

Love the look and durability of it! I got some doors from a mod job in storage for that purpose also. Great job!

Impressive.

Never even crossed my mind that elevator doors might be recycled, but obviously I haven't opened my mind.

Congrats!
