We had one in our garage, but it was a bit small for the space we have (close to 3000 sq ft) and the lack of insulation we have. So we used for a few years and it does work just not enough for our space. It was also a little bit of a pain to get started but once going worked just fine.

If you get one could you do a review and write up as to what you feel are the pro's and con's of this unit.

2K is a lot of cheddar for a burner, but if it allows you to recycle what you have it might break even in the long run . . .

I have one. It works good. It does take a small amount of effort to get it burning, but really no big deal. It has a tray in the burn chamber that I fill with diesel, kerosene or whatever I have that will burn slow. I light that up with a propane torch and it burns starting a draft and warming the oil in the pump. Eventually the pump takes off and it runs till I shut it off.

I like mine, but that being said I plan to sell it now that I have a Reznor hanging from the rafters.

Be sure of your oil supply before dropping the coin. They do burn some oil.
