For the walls of my not yet built pole barn, I bought several 4x8 sheets of the thick pink insulation. The plan was to double it up and secure it in place with spray foam (from a can). There was a great youtube video on this that someone showed me that gave me the idea.
The plan was to spray foam the ceiling, but the cost is looking very steep even for a DIY kit to cover everything. So, what about just buying more sheet insulation and installing it on the ceiling? I could put boards across them to secure them in place and still seal around it with can spray foam like the walls. Everything should be a solid moisture barrier also.
Just wanted to check and see if anyone saw a reason that this might be a bad idea.
