Any rendering software/products out there that people can suggest?

Hi,

I'm looking to start the task of replacing all of my cedar siding, windows and roof. No, I'm not doing it myself. (however I truly wish that I could) I am going to do the painful task of hiring contractors for it. (my luck with contractors has not been good)

Anyway, I would like to move away from 100% siding and go with brick or stone veneer in places. (I am familiar with the products and requirements, so no need to cover that here) What I would like to find is some relatively easy to learn rendering software that someone here may be able to suggest. I haven't had much time to look. But I'm looking for something that can do more than just change colors and is tied to a single manufacturers product line.

ANY suggestions would be greatly appreciated!

Thanks,

Mark

Not 100% sure what you're actually trying to accomplish, but "Sketch up make" is free. I use it all the time when planning projects,

yeah I think SketchUp is what you are looking for, but I wouldn't necessarily say it's the easiest to use

Sorry, to be clearer... I am looking to take a pic of my house and try different brick or stone types/patterns on it. ...along with some different types of roofing. ...metal, faux slate, etc.

Thanks,

Mark

Sounds like a Photoshop type of project?
Maybe purchase Photoshop in case you don't already have a copy.
