A few years back,Sears used to sell these little bottles.I believe it was called that.It was like a lapping compound but the solution it it really suspended it like nothing else.Anyway,it worked super good, like on the end of a hex key,to break frozen allen bolts out, without stripping.I ran out last year, and it's disappeared from the Sears shelves.Anyway to home-make it? It was expensive,is why I figured it didn't sell enough to carry it for Sears. But man,did it work slick.I thought I'd ask here what you guys use that works well.

Thanks for any replies!
Steve

I remember that stuff; had asked about it when I first joined the board and was discouraged from buying it ...

Mactools used to sell it too, came in a tiny little dropper bottle for about $1 million. In accordance with krusty's post, the old timers at the shop just used lapping compound for this job.

Not sure about other brands, but the Mac stuff actually worked really well on screwdrivers.
