I'm trying to search for a couple good chain breakers for roller chains. I need a couple, one for size 40-50 chain and one that would work for 60-80 size chain. The couple I have are cheaply made and never grab the chain properly. The one I have for the bigger chain will never open wide enough to fit a size 80, even though it's made for it.

Just looking for some suggestions of a few good ones. Obviously something with a warranty and/or made in U.S.A. is always a plus.

Thanks in advance.

I used to use a small angle grinder to grind the caps of the pins off then punch them through. Chain breakers didn't really make the job much simpler.

Diamond Chain Company is the oldest USA manufacturer of roller chain. Made in Indy. They have the same one as UST. They all buy them from one company I do not know the name of. Sorry not much help
