Morning,
I recently inherited a fair amount of vintage tools from my Godfather.
The tools sat for 45 years in my brothers basement and my Godfather was a mechanic and used them. That puts them back another 30-40 years near WW2.

Still sorting through this treasure; had posted earlier about my 77-18 (18") Billings Vitalloy "crescent" style adjustable wrench with a triangle "B" mark. Couldn't find another just like it. I just found a "Ford USA" adjustable which looks like to be around 100 years old. Lastly the 6 in. square looks to be made around 1892. These are just the smaller items.
So, after all that, any suggestions on where I might post and maybe sell some of this stuff? I still have a ton to go through. Have a couple of 24" monkey wrenches, a fair amount of different, unique hand drills, hand saws going way back. I'm pretty sure there are thousands and millions more of some of the items out there. Maybe a couple of unique pieces in there somewhere.
Sorry for the long post; any suggestions would be great.
(I'll work on keeping my feet out of the next snaps)!
Thanks!IMG_20220529_072252043.jpgIMG_20220529_064704288.jpgIMG_20220529_070307198.jpg

The folks over in the Vintage Tools forum can provide you with a wealth of information. There are some incredibly knowledgable people in there that willingly share their info.

Cool stuff you have.

More specifically, I think you may be able to identify a lot of it. As for marketing info, maybe not so much. It's not a marketplace but a great source of info. I should have been more specific in that regard in my earlier response.

That is great. I'm retired so I have time to research and collect info. Making info cards for the interesting pieces. If somewhere down the road I find a piece that may he valuable and someone is looking, boom! I also got a bunch of militaria which invites a whole different direction. Between Garage Journal and Antique Tool, aI am good to go!
