I'm trying to I.D the manufacturer of this solid little grinder I bought a few months ago.
It's the factory red and the I'd badge is badly faded. I was told it might be an old Stanley, per 1961 ??
The 4 digit number on top is stamped 9854 (or 9054 as 2nd guess)
It has a very clear number (perhaps serial number) at the bottom: M211E860-JL.
It's 1/3 hp, 115v 4.8 amp. It also has "C48" cast I to the underside of the mounting base, and inside of each wheel guard. It's built like a Sherman tank. I have new bearings enrt, and it's easy peasey on dissaseembly .
My little $15 dollar score from a retired USN engine man.
Thanks !
Shawn
