Any way to block Avatars?

While I am all for some of the interesting pics some members have posted of the fairer *** as avatars, I do like to check this forum at work. Is there any way to block avatars in my settings that I am not finding?

user control panel.
edit options
and look for the header named "Thread Display Options"
uncheck show avatars.

You also have the 'ignore' list. I have a couple on the list because of their avatars.

This would block everyones avatar correct? I've just been using ignore like larry_g.

then i would try to use an ad blocker for your browser.
once you learn to block certain pics, immediately learn to unblock.
you may accidently get carried away with blocking other images and impair your access on the forum.
you'll be impressed with the results.
